yes, these messages usually have been sent - but they have not been
acknowledged by the other side, so climm keeps them to be able to show
ack messages. When the connection is discarded, those messages show
up as not completely processed (because the ack is missing). For ICQ,
messages are re-sent as un-acknowledged messages after a timeout, for
XMPP they're eventually simply forgotten (thus, the timeout is larger).
Btw, this should be unrelated to OTR.
