No surprise, I guess. And libgloox on Feisty is notably less buggy than the
one from Edgy, which e.g. hangs on connection close.

I'm still logging everything that I don't understand. Chat with someone
using Google Talk and you're getting even more stuff. I know I'm supposed
to ignore in the XML what I don't know...

Yes. This is the most important missing part. Though getting rid of too
many dependancies would be nice as well, in particular since libgloox is
C++ :-( Which is the technical reason why XMPP is disabled in the
autopackage.

Yes. But you can add/authorize the contact via Miranda or any other client,
and then it will show up on mICQ. mICQ will simply add a contact it receives
status changes for.
