In the mean time, I found out how to build rpms with buildrpm. Really:
cp micq-$VERSION/micq.spec /usr/src/rpm/SPECS/
cp micq-$VERSION.tgz /usr/src/rpm/SOURCES/
rpmbuild --clean --nodeps -ba /usr/src/rpm/SPECS/micq.spec
is so much more obvious and concise than
rpm --clean -ta micq-$VERSION.tgz
so I'm glad they made that change. </sarcasm>

Also, I made an error by forgetting (again...) to update the build mark,
which is probably because grep won't find it as it's hex. So I made a
few more packaging fixes (libgnutls dependancy in debian/control, ...)
and made new binaries. Also, the generic .rpm and .deb will use the
autopackage magic, so even if you force-install them overriding
dependancies, it should still work, though then just without tcl
scripting and/or ssl.

And I fixed up my release script to make a few more things automagic :)
