Hi,

you should get the newest CVS snapshot and compile it.
The reason for offline status is change in the login procedure.

Instructions (as root):

First of all remove package named micq (to make sure it won't get
overwritten by an update of your distribution). Then go to a directory,
where you usualy store sources (for example /usr/src/)

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at www.micq.org:/var/lib/cvs co -r HEAD micq
cd micq
./prepare
./configure
make
make install

Next time a new CVS snapshot will be available, go to the directory
/usr/src/micq (as root) and execute:

cvs up
./prepare
./configure
make
make install

If I'm wrong, somebody correct me.

Regards,

Tomas/voodoo
