Which version of mICQ do you use?

Trillian claims do support Unicode, but only supports it for
non-acknowledged messages. mICQ, however, sends acknowledged messages
whenever it can. I thought I added a work-around to ignore it
and fall back to messages with unknown enccoding (i.e. the one
you configured).

If you do use mICQ 0.5.1, what does "s <yourfriendsnick>" list for
capabilities? (I.e. both Trillian related ones? CAP_UTF-8?)
