[mICQ] ICQ-Virus/Worm

Hello!

I'm quite sure that there is a virus/worm that uses icq to distribute 
itself. The last days I got "messages" like

A friend who also received the "message" downloaded the file and checked 
it with antivir: antivir says that it is generic.stration

Another friend who sent me the "message" was hacked, because GAIM told 
him that someone else logged in with his account. So I fear that the 
icq-server might be hacked.
If I log in... is my icq-password transmitted clearly like "abcde" or is 
it encrypted, e.g. with "crypt" or "md5"?

Do you have the same experience or do you know more about that?
